ABOUT US

SIRSIL is a Uruguayan meat processing plant founded in 1925 that has a long family history in the beef sector. It is located at Coronel Raíz 2764 in the heart of Montevideo. The plant is about 11,000 m2 built on a 10-hectare site.

Production is aimed at both the domestic and foreign markets, so that the refrigerator has the necessary permits to operate in relevant markets such as the United States of America, Israel, the Middle East, Central America, Canada, Europe, Russia, China, among others.

The main objective of Frigorifico SIRSIL SA is to ensure that the client feels totally satisfied with our services, both in the meat and in its processing and its quality level.

Slaughter capacity of the plant is a daily slaughter of approximately 500 animals. On the other hand, the deboning area has a capacity of 1,400 quarters per turn.

We have an automatic deposit called the latest generation Carton Freezer capable of holding 1500 tons, where they remain 48 hours at a temperature of -35 º C

We have a totally new high-tech cold warehouse with mobile shelving to save energy and space with storage of 1600 tons at a temperature of -25ºC.

An important investment was made in a Kosher Saladero for the exclusive qualification and processing for said meat and thus satisfy each one of the needs of the different clients around the world.
